This post will give you a decent loadout for playlists that feature objective based play like Hardpoint and Domination. You would not really use this loadout for any other game type.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Domination Weapon Loadout
The loadout is all about protecting objectives and as you will normally be around one place for most of the time it is all about stopping power. You have big guns, a lot of ammo and also stopping power both in the long range and short range with the shotgun.
We are pretty much using all available slots by having 2 primary weapons but it can make a big difference and you will be unstoppable.
Objective based playlists in Black Ops 2 are also awesome if you are new to the game as you can build up a huge amount of XP fast.
Give this loadout a try and make sure you are on either Hardpoint or Domination and you should find your XP mounting up fairly quickly with a bit of practice.
