Uprising is a new DLC pack for Call of Duty Black ops 2 that is due out tomorrow – here we will take a look at the features that you can expect to find:

Obviously the new content will arrive tomorrow so once we have our hands on the map pack we will update with some weapon loadouts that you can use and more in-depth strategies.

The first thing we will look at is the maps as this makes up a big part of the DLC.

The first map is:

Magma – This is a map where a volcano has erupted right through the center of the town so you will need to be aware of that while playing. This is also the first map where the lava will actually move and you can be burnt so you will need to keep an eye out.

This map playstyle will feature short and long range so you will be looking for an SMG or a Sniper weapon loadout on this one.

Make sure that you carry multiple weapon types, as you will need to swap between weapons quite quickly because the range changes quite a lot.

Again, you have to keep an eye out for the lava as you can get burnt fairly easily.

Encore – Gives you an outdoor stage amphitheatre in London. The best playstyle for Encore is to head around the outside of the stage in the seating areas with an SMG or shotgun or if you are good and want to rack up the score streaks head to the main stage as this will give you a height advantage but you need to be a quick shot.

Vertigo – This is set on a tall skyscraper. This map will be very fast paced and you will be able to jump from one path to another – even through the windows. So with this map you will be looking for an SMG loadout and also to know the routes. We will update this once the game is launched as we have not seen the map yet.

At first glance it looks like a close knit map however.

Of course it is high up as well so you can play around the edge but if you make a wrong move you will fall off!

Studio – This is a remake of the Black Ops Firing Range and it is set in a Hollywood backlot with about 4 different move themes running through the map. The movie themes go from aliens, pirates, Jurassic park and the Wild West.

You will want to try and head to the Castle tower for a good position as a sniper in this map and the tavern as they are the center points of the map.

The weapons you will want to use on Studio are either a long range Sniper or something with a lot of stopping power such as an LMG.

Mob Of The Dead:

This looks really good and is set on Alcatraz – think of it as a gangster movie mingled with a horror film. So if you want to see Al Capone as a zombie this is how you can do it.

Basically you will be fighting for survival in Alcatraz against zombies. There are also some changes on how zombie mode works. Basically if a player becomes a victim you will be sent into the afterlife.

We will need to update this guide on that feature as there is nothing on it at the minute so stay tuned for that but it looks interesting…

In this post we will run through what you get with the new DLC for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 which is due to drop on April 16^th 2013.

They call it the most “fan centric” DLC package they have ever created!

You get 4 brand new maps:

Magma which is a Volcano map where the volcano has erupted right through the center of the town. This map will have both short range and long range play. On this map it looks like you will need to try a few different loadouts as you will need long range like a Sniper and short range like the Peacekeeper too. This is the first map ever that has lava which will burn you so you need to be careful!

Encore which is an outdoor amphitheatre map in London. This looks good as there is a center stage in the middle of the stadium and that looks like the focal point. If you can get there we think you will have a huge advantage and you will want to go for a weapon loadout that uses an LNG or something with a lot of stopping power.

Vertigo which is a tall skyscraper map with a helicopter launch pad. In this map it is on a skyscraper but you can also smash the windows and actually jump across into different sections. Looks like a close range map primarily so thinking something with the Peacekeeper for this one.

Studio is a map in Hollywood that is a movie set. You will find yourself fighting through UFO sets, Wild West, Jurassic parks sets and more. The main place you will want to be here is the Castle or the Tavern as they control the center of the map.

There is also a brand new zombies experience called mob of the dead. This looks really good and is set on Alcatraz!

There is not too much about the Mob of the Dead zombies pack but it looks like gangster zombies are coming…

Well worth picking this up – it is on the Xbox 360 first on April 16^th 2013!

This post will give you another weapon loadout for beginners or for people that do not take the game too seriously. You will be able to get easier scorestreaks and have quite a bit of stopping power.

The main problem when you are starting out with Black Ops 2 that will make the difference between a rubbish and good player apart from tactics is aim. Not so much if you are aiming properly but the speed at which you do it so this should help you out.

The weapon loadout is made to improve hip firing accuracy and the Assault rifle we have picked has a lot of stopping power. You also have the KAP-40 that is a decent pistol.

The perks you have are awesome for beginners, you have Hardline to help you out with those scorestreaks and you have Toughness and Dexterity that should give you a bit of the edge you need.

This post will give you a fairly decent loadout that you can use that has a ton of stopping power and also some versatility with the grenades that you will be able to use tactically to buy you some time or to add to the firepower.

For the Primary weapon we are going for pure stopping power and the Type 25. We will put the Millimetre Scanner on as our attachment.

We will then go for the RPG which of course gives us the ultimate power edge. This will stop pretty much anything and it works well with playlists that the players are all grouped together on.

For your Wildcard we are getting Danger Close so we can get more grenades and the grenades I recommend you got for 2x lots of Grenade and Flashbangs.

For your perks I would go for Hardline, Scavenger and Engineer.

Lastly the Score streaks that work well with this loadout are Hunter Killer, Lightning Strike and Stealth Chopper.

Give this one a go in Team Deathmatch or any objective based team playlist like Domination or Capture The Flag.

Good All Round Weapon Loadout

In this post we are going to give you another weapon loadout that you can use if you are looking for a good all-rounder. Meaning you can use this weapon loadout for pretty much any playlist although my personal preference for this one is Kill Confirmed.

We are picking the SIG556 for our primary and we are not going to put on a secondary weapon for now. As I explain in the video below you COULD put a secondary on this loadout if you want more versatility but we are going for perks over the secondary weapon.

For your attachments you will pick the Suppressor and Adjustable Stock and you will also have versatility with your grenade as we will pick the standard grenade and also the tactical grenade.

To get the most of your perks I suggest you pick up Perk 1 Greed and also Hardline and Ghost for your first 2 perks as we can now have two as our Perk 1.

For our next two perks we are going for Toughness and Dexterity.

For Scorestreaks I suggest you go for UAV, Care Package and Lightning Strike.

Call Of Duty Black Ops 2 Beginner Weapon Loadout

In this post we will give you a loadout that you can use if you are a beginner in Black Ops 2 or you are looking to go back to basics. This weapon loadout gives you quite a versatile loadout you can use for both speed and stopping power.

You have the AN-94 as your primary weapon although as explained in the video you can swap that for the Peacekeeper and change some of the perks to make a more speedy loadout if you wish.

Select fire will work well on both the AN-94 and the Peacekeeper and you should be able to take an enemy down with a short burst.

As mentioned in the video if you opt in for more of a “camping” style the Claymore and the Sentry gun will help you out assuming that you find a good spot.

You also have the Awareness perk which is not used that often but is an excellent way to learn the game. I suggest that you use this and get yourself a surround sound headset if you do not have already so you can hear where the enemy is at all times.

Once you learn how to pinpoint where they are it will make you a much better player of the game.

So with this loadout use either an Assault rifle or swap to the Peacekeeper and change the perks around a little to make you faster.

In this post we will give you a weapon loadout that you can use in Black Ops 2 that will help you in playlists such as Capture the flag, Hardpoint and Domination.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2 “Teamplay” Loadout

For this loadout you can go for pretty much any Assault rifle you want but I have picked the M8A1 and the attachment laser sight which makes it a little more accurate.

For your secondary you are just going for all out stopping power and because you will be using this primarily on team games it will give you the damage you need.

For your perks you are going for Lightweight which will make you move faster and take no damage from falls. You have Fast hands as most of the team playlists are heading toward an objective or protecting one and this will help you flinch less when shot.

Extreme Conditioning helps you move faster for longer and that helps when you are heading toward an objective.

For your grenades we are going for EMP and Smoke which are both tactical so you will need the Tactician wildcard.

Team playlists are an awesome way to bump up your XP by helping the team out give this loadout a go and see how it helps you.

This post will give you a weapon loadout that you can use for a bit of fun or if you are getting bored with Black Ops 2. We are going to use the knife primarily and as many perks as we can to make us as fast as possible.

Here is the loadout:

As you can see in the video we are not picking any primary weapon and our main form of defence will be a KAP40 pistol with the Tactical Knife attachment.

Then we are loading on as many perks as possible so you will want to pick Wildcards Perk 1 & 2 greed.

That will allow to pick a whopping 5 perks and these will be:

Ghost
Lightweight
Fast Hands
Cold Blooded
Dexterity

Ghost will help you as you will not be detected by Enemy UAV’s when you are moving.
Lightweight will help you move faster and you will take no damage from falling.
Fast Hands will cause you to flinch less when you get shot.
Cold Blooded will help you stay off the radar even more.
Dexterity will allow you to keep up the pace as you leap over objects or climb ladders.

This loadout is meant to be used very fast and you will have an advantage on speed and surprise. See how many people you can knife you might be surprised.

This post will give you a loadout that you can use if you are a beginner to Black Ops 2. We have loaded it up a lot of stopping power and also the perks we are picking take advantage of the fact that you will not be that tactical.

If you want to up your skill level one of the best things you can do is stick to one playlist for a while until you master it. Stick with team games if you want to level up faster but the main thing you are looking for are the best players and then you can see which set ups they have but more than this you will get to learn the maps as you can see where they are going when the game starts. There are also a lot of tricks to learn that will make you a better player but most of it is practice to build up the reaction time you need.

This weapon loadout should help you until you get to that point however:

For your primary weapon we are going for the stopping power of the QBB LSW and I suggest you taker the attachments Adjustable Stock and Foregrip. Adjustable stock will give you a bit more speed and Foregrip will give you a bit more stability as the LMG’s do have a fair kick to them.

For grenades we are just going for the standard grenade and tactically we are going for Tactical Insertion that will help you pick an awesome re-spawn point.

For your perks you have lightweight that will help you move faster and when you have a big LMG this will help!

Toughness will help you as when you get shot at you will not flinch as much and can fire back with your LMG!

You have Engineer so you don’t get caught out by Sentry guns  and bouncing betties will be delayed.

This post will give you a decent Hardcore Kill Confirmed loadout you can use in game that will work well with larger maps. The main thing with the Hardcore Kill Confirmed playlist to remember is to stay on the move and make sure you try and keep a positive kill/death ratio as obviously the amount of times you die will affect your team.

This loadout is focused on having loads of stopping power and that is why we have picked the M27 Assault rifle as our primary which obviously will make us a bit heavier but we are also picking some perks to make us fast.

Another aspect of this loaodut is the attachments and you have to pick up the Wildcard – Primary Gunfighter so you can fit 3 attachments on that primary weapon and then we pick:

Target Finder will help you spot enemies sooner and get a better aim before you shoot.

Forgrip will stop some of that recoil and give you better accuracy.

Fast Mag will make sure you don’t get caught reloading and make that a lot faster.

If you wanted to add to this loadout you could pick up Perk 1 Greed and also pick up Ghost but make sure you also have Lightweight, Toughness and Dexterity as this loadout is all about stopping power while keeping that speed up.
